“Growing SMEs, It's Time to Invest” is an Investment Market Place for Small and medium Enterprises in developing markets, where 100 SME entrepreneurs from all parts of the globe will pitch their companies to one of the largest groups of SME-focused institutional and angel investors ever to converge. Agriterra will be present at this Investment Market Place, which is organised by BiD Network. Together with BiD, Agriterra set up the Farmers in Business Challenge. This challenge aims to enhance farmer-led business development and targets cooperatives and farmers organizations seeking finance to start up a company or to expand the capacity of their existing company. At the Investement Market Place on June 2nd Agriterra will announce who is the winner of this challenge. The Dutch Minister of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality Gerda Verburg will give the price to the owner of the best business plan.
