liaison officer

Bertine Sian is liasion officer in team advocacy and innovation, for customers in Central America (Costa-Rica, Mexico, Nicaragua), West Africa (Benin, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast) and Jordan. She grew up on a mixed farm in Groesbeek and studied Forestry at the Wageningen University and Research Centre (WUR).

From 1993 till 2000 she worked in Burkina Faso, first in an agro ecological project, and thereafter in a project for rural women. After returning to the Netherlands, she worked as a policy officer for BAJK in Tilburg. Besides her work for Agriterra, until the end of 2007 she managed a crops farm in Groesbeek.
