Yvonne van Maanen (Doesburg, 1953) grew up in Apeldoorn and upon completing secondary school, studied maternity nursing. After graduation, she worked briefly as a maternal nurse until she had her own children.

In 1984 (while she was living in Zevenaar), she picked up her working life again and worked herself up to member of the internal sales staff at a magazine distributor. Except for a period of one year (during which she worked as a Telephonist for another company) she worked there until the end of 2006. Since January 2007 she has worked for Agriterra, she started as a telephonist/ receptionist, since 2011 Yvonne is working as communications assistant.
