Nellie van der Pasch

Nellie van der Pasch (1960) was born in Sint-Oedenrode and raised on a farm. She studied Tropical Agriculture at the International Agrarian School in Deventer and obtained her teaching grade at the High Agrarian School in Den Bosch. After her studies she lived for 15 years in South Asia (Nepal, Pakistan and Bhutan) where she tried to improve the position of rural people (especially women). In Bhutan she worked as deputy country director for four years for SNV. She focussed on education, research, training and micro credit facilities. In 1998 she returned to the Netherlands and followed a Master Class Human Resource Management and Organisational development at the Manchester University in England.

After having worked for a consultancy bureau as organisation consultant, she started working for ICCO as a liaison officer for South Asia. In the 7 years that she worked for ICCO, she also was charged with the instutional development and reorganisation of ICCO during 2004-2007. In 2007 Nellie became programme coordinator for Latin America.

In March 2008 Nellie joined Agriterra. She started as head of the advisory department. Since April 2011, Nellie is teammanager of advocacy and innovation.
