Report on the international seminar by Agriterra and Veepro Holland.

This year Agriterra, the Dutch organisation for development cooperation "from farmer to farmer", celebrates its 10th anniversary. The last week of June, we organised several activities to celebrate this jubilee and to ask attention for our method of agricultural development cooperation.

On June 26, we organised together with Veepro Holland (the Information Centre for Dutch Dairy Cattle), an international seminar "Cattle Breeding Worldwide". Main themes of this seminar were animal health and sustainability in cattle breeding. The seminar was a unique blend of international speakers and angles. The international participants and speakers exchanged ideas, knowledge and experiences on the possibilities for cattle breeding programmes in countries in development.
