The year 2006 is the third year in the 5 year strategic plan of Mviwata.
In the strategic plan of Mviwata for 2004-2008 focus is on:
a) strengthening of the middle level of the organisation to be able to initiate development activities
b) capacity strengthening of the national organisation aimed at effective services
c) training of leaders, staff and members
d) Strengthening of management and implementation capacity.
In the workplan of 2005/2006 Mviwata focusses on all these issues
The formation of middle level networks goes hand in hand with the growth of membership of MVIWATA.
Mviwata organised a meeting with all donors in January 2006. The planning of 2006 and 2007 were included in this meeting.

Focus in 2006 is mainly on the first strategy: Strengthen development efforts of MVIWATA members for enhancing effective service delivery at middle level. The budget for 2006 is Euro 95.473 and for 2007 is Euro 113.751.
