Matching Farmers and Agribusiness

Federation of Farmers Associations in Andhra Pradesh has collaborated with Agriterra from 2000 onwards. During the first phase of collaboration the Federation has implemented a pilot project in 4 districts of Andhra Pradesh. In this phase the focus was on organisational development, lobbying and advocacy, ICT, and various extension efforts. Moreover, FFAAP promoted linkages between existing agro-industries and farmers. In the project proposal for the second phase, FFAAP proposes to replicate its approach to 10 additional districts of Andhra Pradesh. In the project proposal 11 main objectives are distinguished.
