FinBase aims at strengthening both financial management and financial position of peoples´ organizations working with Agriterra. The final objective is to prepare them for institutional financing and for a service oriented budgeting and planning approach (SOMPLAN). In the context of FinBase a number of activities are planned: international workshops; expert missions; direct advice and service delivery by Agriterra staff; local training sessions; purchase/up dating of accountancy and administration software.
The 2004 programme envisages the organisation of two international workshops, three expert and advisory missions, product development, the constitution of a working group of Dutch experts involved with producers´ organisations and the facilitation of local capacity strengthening micro-projects.
The total participation of agriterra is ? 200,555.00
