In spite of our current reserved policy regarding fund raising, sometimes an amount on money of individuals or groups in the Netherlands is transferred into our account. Procedures have been developed for it as well as a standard response (thanks note, do they want specific information, etc.). In 2008, we focus more on businesses. To qualify for funds from for instance the “postcode-loterij” (public lottery) Agriterra needs the CBF hallmark. Agriterra also has its name mentioned on several websites that give an overview of organisations active in (development (aid): www.schenkservice.nl, www.nationalegoededoelentest.nl, www.independer.nl etc. We have received the hallmark and our request for support from the “postcode loterij has been ïssued.

Once every two months we send the E-zine to all those interested. With this constant information flow we want increase the interest in our activities and stimulate the visit to our website. In E-zine we pay attention to fund raising and stories about donations given to POs and we also do this through the handing out of flyers during big farmer events like the Landbouwvakbeurs, de NRM. Fundraising is also done by work groups of the supporting farmers organisations in the Netherlands.
