Training under an umbrella

AMMOR is an umbrella organisation for women, which was established in 1997. AMMOR represents 18 regional organisations in Mexico. Target of AMMOR is to improve women's rights, and hence their independence and economic conditions. The members consist a.o. of manual workers and farmers.

In this project up to 80 executives of regional organizations will be trained and following workshops, to increase their knowledge and skills of enterprise. With this training and the exchange of experiences, cooperation between the various regional organizations will be improved. Training materials will be developed for this purpose.

By improving the leadership qualities of the participating women, the position and impact of AMMOR as a whole will be strengthened.
