Agri-ProFocus

Agri-ProFocus is the Dutch partnership which is directed towards more and better support to the farmer’s organisations in developing countries. This partnership was formed in March 2005, and at the moment consists of 22 member organisations that work together in the context of farmer’s organisations and that exchange knowledge and information in this subject.

Here you will find a list of the members of Agri‑ProFocus.

The Agri-ProFocus partnership has an office that works as a broker in promoting the cooperation amongst members. The demands of the farmer’s organisations are leading in this, which means that the office then tailors the support that the member organisations provide. In this way, for example, a subsidy provided by Agriterra in India is linked to a loan from Oikocredit to further develop the processing of milk.

Agriterra is one of the initiators of this partnership. We consider it important to work together with the organisations that make up Agri-ProFocus. In this way we are able to support the farmer’s organisations more effectively, and thus can contribute to the reduction of poverty.
