Support Agriterra financially
Donations
You can transfer donations or gifts to Agriterra in different ways: using a credit card, through a once-only or direct debit instruction to your bank for a money transfer, or through the deposit of a specified amount of money to:
Account No. 3697.24.666 in the name of Agriterra – Arnhem, stating “gift” (or, in case you want to sponsor a specific project, stating the project number). Our Swift-code NL 92 RABO 0369 7246 66
Fiscal consequences
As of January 1, 2008, only gifts to ANBI’s (institutions that promote the general good) are tax-deductible. Agriterra has been recognised as an ANBI, which means your gift can have fiscal advantages for you. For more information, visit www.belastingdienst.nl.
Legacies and testamentary dispositions
Another possibility is to support Agriterra financially through your will.
This can be done by including a legacy or testamentary disposition in your will.
A testamentary disposition specifies that Agriterra shall receive a portion of the heritage (a percentage of the heritage). A legacy specifies on beforehand a fixed amount of money that you will leave to Agriterra. You might also want to indicate that the heirs will be charged for the succession duties owed.
Periodical donation/ gifts
Were you already planning to continue supporting Agriterra the coming years? In that case you might want to consider contributing through a periodical donation!
This kind of periodical donation must be registered at a notary’s, specifying the amount of money, for example 75 Euros, you want to support Agriterra with for a certain amount of years. Every year, you can deduct this amount from your taxes. Depending on your income, the tax department pays from one third up to half of the money back. In this way, your donation only costs you from 37 up to 50 Euros per year, while Agriterra receives the full amount. This means extra support for the farmers without any more costs for you!
Fiscal arrangements
A periodical donation is fiscally more interesting than a once-only gift. Periodical donations are not limited to a minimum or maximum amount of money in order to be tax-deductible. They are completely tax-deductible. According to the current tax system and depending on your income, the tax department pays up to 52% of your donation.
Ask your fiscal advisor for more information about the fiscal advantages, look for a notary in your neighbourhood on the www.notaris.nl website, or contact the notary telephone: 0900 – 346 93 93.
