80th International Conference on Agriculture and Development (ICAD)

80th edition of the ICAD. ICAD is a yearly conference that brings together scientist, policymakers, development professionals and farmers all over the world.

Theme of this edition will be the high food prices. "High food prices: a disaster for the world, a blessing for farmers?" The causes of high food prices, the implications for smallholders, the options to mitigate their impact, and the possible roles of the public and private sector will be discussed.

ICAD is organised by Agriterra, Euroconsult Mott Mc Donald, KLV, Van Hall Larenstein, Wageningen International, Agri-ProFocus and the Royal Tropical Institute.
