The objective of this project is to broaden the constituency of farmers organizations in the Netherlands. The 10th anniversary of Agriterra is a nice occasion to organize this event. The objective is to promote farmers fighting poverty among a wider audience with the message: It can, it should and it works!
The thematic discussions will be around entrepreneurship and innovation, as this will have the interest of cooperatives and increase their involvement.
Main activities to be organized:
1. 4-5 days Tour of cooperative farmers (mainly organized by dutch farmers organizations).
2. One day Seminar/dialoque of leaders of cooperatives (North-South)
3. One day mass public event.
