MVIWATA is a National Network of Small-scale Farmer Groups in Tanzania which was founded in 1993 and formally registered in 1995. It is a network of small-scale farmer groups that are formed into Local Networks at Village or Ward levels, and Middle Level Networks at Regional level. MVIWATA has a broad based grassroots membership in 19 Regions of Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar.
