The work area financial management builds on the experiences of the FinBase programma, that has been conceived by Agriterra and was aimed at the strengthening of the Financial Basis of Producer Organizations. The focus is firstly on the administrative and bookkeeping capacity of producer organizations. Secondly the income generating capacity is object of support. Thirdly the programme enables PO's to better cope with the reporting and accounting requirements of donor agencies.
During the last years Agriterra has developed various tools, instruments and events to further the objectives of Finbase. In 2007 it is proposed to take stock of the past experiences and to develop clear tailor made products and services for 2007 - 2010.
