Le Anh Tuan

Tuan hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration in Small Enterprise Training and Promotion from Leipzig University, Germany, and twenty-two years of full-time work experience in international development, government, and private sector. His expertise includes the provision of business support services and technical advice to diverse public and private stakeholders of the agriculture market system and value chains in Vietnam. 

These rich experiences were gained through his extensive job tenures in different locations in Southeast Asia. Specifically, in Vietnam, his work has mainly focused on providing business advisory support to various agriculture product subsectors such as spice, medicinal plants, benzoin, off-season vegetables, tea, ramie, bamboo-shoot, coffee sectors, and climate-smart agriculture and business incubation in the Northwest, North Central, and Central Highland regions. Additionally, he also has a long-established relationship with decision-makers, corporates, businesses, research institutes, and universities at different levels in Vietnam.

From 2017 to 2021, he has taken a leading management role in the development of various businesses and private sector at GREAT, a 33 million AUD program funded by the Australian Government. During this period, he has been responsible for the steering of and learning management for numerous agricultural sub-sectors including medicinal plants, cinnamon, off-season vegetables, and ramie. Simultaneously, he has managed over twenty-five partner projects in the agriculture sector of the said programme. 

His experience extends to cover also the development of types of business support services such as certification, marketing, branding, digital marketing, and e-commerce for businesses in the agriculture sector as well as in market system development. 

Over the past 20 years, Le Anh Tuan has successfully performed in several senior management roles. He started working for Agriterra in February 2023 as a Senior Cooperative Advisor - Lobby and Advocacy Advisor for Asia Regional Office.
