Frank Oduro

Frank Oduro (1984) is a highly motivated professional who loves learning and enjoy working with others. He is always looking for ways to improve his skills and qualification, so that he can perform to the highest standard possible in his role. Frank holds a Bachelor of Science degree in General Agriculture from the University of Cape Coast-Ghana and a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Production Chain Management with specialisation in horticultural chains from Van Hall Larenstien University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. He has received in-service trainings on the use of the Farmers Advocacy Consultation Tool from Agriterra-Ghana, Certification in Agribusiness from Control Union Academy in the Netherlands, Rice production from the National Crops Resources Research Institute in Uganda, Citrus production from GIZ, Entrepreneurship and Business Plan Development from Agriculture Economics department of the University of Cape Coast-Ghana.

Prior to joining Agriterra as a Client Information Analyst, he spent nine years developing his skills as agricultural project facilitator by working for the Ghana Cocoa Board as an Intern, the Parliament of Ghana as a Research Assistant, Ghana’s Ministry of Food and Agriculture as District Agriculture Officer for crops development and Royal Floraholland as a Logistics Employee. Within this period, he contributed to improving rural enterprises by facilitating rural agricultural development projects under the Root and Tuber Improvement and Marketing Programme and the West African Agriculture Productivity Programme in Ghana.

As the grandson of a cocoa farmer, who saw at first hand the struggles that farmers in rural areas goes through on a daily basis. He is passionate about contributing to the improvement of the livelihood of the rural farmer. He is excited to be a part of Agriterra’s dynamic team that seeks to stimulate strong and vibrant rural economy. He also sees Agriterra as not only a challenging place for his career growth but also a good platform to put his skills and experience to good use.
