Giacomo Di Lallo

Giacomo Di Lallo (Trento, 1990) grew up in Rome where he accomplished a Bachelor in Biology at the University of Roma Tre. When he finished the Bachelor he worked as an intern at the Food Agriculture Organization (FAO) headquarter in Rome mapping the spread of the East Coast Fever in sub-Saharan Africa, a disease that affect the livestock, and studying the effectiveness of the prevention methods of this disease. Thrilled by this experience he decided to continue his studies in Sustainability in an international environment.

Hence, he moved to the Netherlands where he accomplished a 2 year MSc in Sustainable Development-Climate Change and Ecosystems. With this degree he addressed various environmental sustainability issues and Climate Change related problems in many academic papers and carried out his own researches throughout an independent literature-based research and data collection. In particular, following his primary interests, he studied the sustainability challenges associated with agricultural production systems.

Driven by his analytical thinking, after the Master, he worked as a Data Analyst and Internal Researcher at SCOPEinsight, a company assessing the professional maturity of cooperatives and farmer organisations in developing countries. With this job, beside the ongoing data analysis challenges (rescuing, organising, cleaning and reporting), he helped standardising the database and making sense of data to use them strategically and find the best opportunities.

Giacomo joined Agriterra in September 2018 as client information analyst.
