Enhancing Smallholder Commercialisation of Rice Farmers in Chinsali

To increase the incomes of small holder rice producers in Chinsali District through facilitating rice farmers access to inputs including high quality seed, fertilizers and mechanization and access to competitive markets. Field days are organised for learning from demoplots to improve production practices and adoptation of new technologies. The organisation promotes savings groups in order to have cash available when needed in the production process. The 'gouvernance' structure needs capacity strenghtening in order to provide good services to its members and get more members involved.
