Nguyen Thu Trang has ten years of working experience in development sector. Graduated Bachelor of Business major in Finance and Financial Management, she has started as a translator and worked to be the Project Coordinator for Black & Veatch International, the project consultant for two Asia Development Bank urban development projects. After the project was completed, she was recruited as Administrative and Finance Officer for Project VIE/035 where Luxembourg Agency for the Development Cooperation providing Technical Assistant to one of the International Fund for Agricultural Development funded project in Tuyen Quang, Vietnam. The project mandate is to carry out a number of pro-poor institutional reforms, including a more decentralized, bottom-up participatory approach, promoting agribusiness and value chain development. After eight months of good performance, she was relocated to work in Hanoi as Project Officer in LuxDev Regional Office of Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar. Currently, she is taking a Master on Project Management of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Thu Trang considers her strongest capacity to be in coordination and project management. She also believes agriculture is the fundamental sector in any economies and she has a lot of passion in doing business in agricultural sector and value chain development. The work experience has not only provided her with excellent academic preparations, she also has the opportunity to meet people from all over the world; learning about different cultures.
