On Thursday 1 November ambassador Ngo Thi Hoa from Vietnam visited the head office of Agriterra. She was accompanied by Nguyen Hai Tinh, head of Vietnam Trade Office. They had an appointment with Kees Blokland, director of Agriterra and Bertine Schieven, business advisor Agriterra Vietnam.
The Vietnamese delegation visited Agriterra to talk about the progress of the Cooperative Development Plan in Vietnam and to talk about opportunities to intensify the collaboration between Agriterra and the Vietnamese government.
Cooperative Development Plan
Agriterra has designed the Cooperative Development Plan in March 2017 in Hanoi to target the five big challenges, stimulating trust, market linkage, finance, achieve business management and to include more technology in the sector to increase efficiency and become more competitive, for Vietnamese cooperatives.
