Wilfred Chepkwony

Wilfred Chepkwony is an Agriterra business advisor based in Nairobi, Kenya. He joined Agriterra in January 2013 to support the then Agribusiness advisor to better offer the highly demanded advisory services to the rapidly growing client portfolio in Kenya. Before joining Agriterra, Wilfred was working as a project manager with a dairy cooperative where his main task was to help develop a sustainable cooperative business model and before that he held other positions working as an Accountant with a tea cooperative, a business development officer in a Kenyan commercial bank and as an accounts assistant intern at Finlays (K) ltd. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce with a major in Accounting. He is also a recognised certified public accountant in Kenya.

Wilfred is a highly motivated professional who brings to the team his wealth of progressive experience and expertise on financial management, business planning and development, financial management, operational management, marketing and resource mobilization gained from his previous engagements and also while working for the Agriterra program; making cooperatives bankable.
His passion is in developing sustainable businesses with well-articulated growth strategy that can be sustainably supported by business fundamentals.
