Office Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an organized, service-oriented Office Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our Head Office in Arnhem. In this role, you will be the heart of our office: keeping everything running efficiently, supporting colleagues with administrative and facility matters, and helping to create a pleasant, safe, and well-organized working environment. You will work closely with the COO and act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Office management

  • Facilitate daily office operations to ensure a functional and pleasant working environment for the team.
  • Manage office supplies and ensure stock levels are maintained.
  • Organize internal events and coordinate logistics.
  • Support health and safety measures; coordinate the emergency response team (BHV).
  • Liaise with outsourced facility services (e.g., cleaning, translation services).
  • Act as budget holder for the internal office budget.

Administrative support

  • Serve as the first point of contact for general emails, phone calls, and visitors.
  • Support colleagues with travel arrangements and other logistical needs.
  • Assist with a wide range of general (ad hoc) administrative tasks across the organization.
  • Coordinate meetings and take minutes for the Management Team.

What do you offer?

  • An MBO4-level qualification (or equivalent).
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar office management or administrative role.
  • Strong planning and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English; French is an advantage.
  • Solid computer skills and confidence using MS Office.
  • A service- and customer-oriented mindset (internal and external), flexibility, and the ability to work independently.
  • An eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
