The overall purpose of the Procurement Officer is to ensure that the organization acquires the goods, services, and works it needs efficiently, cost‑effectively, and ethically, by managing the full procurement cycle from planning and sourcing through negotiation, supplier selection, contract award and delivery while ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal/donor/regulatory requirements, minimizing risks, maintaining supplier relationships, and contributing to value for money.
Agriterra is looking to recruit one (1) Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) in Uganda. As PMEL Specialist you will support the regional team composed of project leads and a regional manager, in the Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (PMEL) related activities to ensure the impact of Agriterra’s work can be monitored and demonstrated towards relevant stakeholders.
The Project & Finance Officer responsibility is ensuring accurate, timely and reliable financial accounting according to monthly and annual deliverables. In addition, he/she provides correct and complete information and documents regarding projects e.g. (international) work visits of employees and temporary experts such as Agripoolers. Arrange all back-office tasks related to travel. The project & finance officer provides support to the PMEL Specialist in the collection and entry of project related data and documentation. Furthermore, general administrative (project) support is provided to the wider organisation.
The Business Developer leads business development processes and engages internal and external stakeholders across countries. They also maintain and expand relationships with donors and strategic partners globally. The role demands at least three years of experience in proposal development, acquisition, and project management. Candidates must be proficient in English, with Dutch or French as a plus, and able to work under pressure with frequent travel. Essential skills include strategic communication, negotiation, creativity, and organizational abilities.
