Alexandra Lasek

Originally from Germany, Alexandra Lasek relocated to the Netherlands in September 2023 and joined Agriterra at the same time. With a background in Economics & Business Studies, she pursued a Master's degree in Development Economics and International Studies in Germany including an exchange semester in Mexico.

During her studies, Alexandra began working as a working student in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and project coordination at a non-profit organization based in Hamburg, which supports cooperatives and local organizations in the global south with entrepreneurial initiatives. Following the completion of her master's thesis, she gained practical experience through an internship at the Initiative for Sustainable Agricultural Supply Chains with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).

At Agriterra, Alexandra serves as a PMEL specialist responsible for the South-East Asia region. Additionally, she contributes to the development of the learning component within the PMEL department.
