Tran Thanh Ha

Tran Thanh Ha has been working at Agriterra since 2020. He holds a master’s degree in development management (Asian Institute of Management, Manila, the Philippines. 2004).

He began his career as a project officer at Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (VBARD) during 1994-2004, managing international credit projects financed by the World Bank (WB) and Asian Development Bank (ADB) which provided thousands of agricultural production organizations with working capital for business expansion.

After that he worked as Livelihood Program Manager at Save the Children International in Vietnam during 2005-2015. His experience, passion for entrepreneurship, creativity and strong analytical skills contributed to the livelihood improvement of thousands of farmers and agricultural production organizations in Vietnam.

He was the founder of Havinky company which produces world-class rice spirits to be sold in Vietnam and other countries in the world. He successfully coordinated the efforts of 5 cooperatives and agricultural production organsations who work in the supply chain of rice spirits during 2016-2019.

Ha strongly believes in the Agriterra approach. The success of agricultural production cooperatives because of Agriterra’s technical assistance will inspire many others to move forwards. And as a result, it will bring the living standard of millions of Vietnamese farmers to a new level in the years to come.
