Marlène Huis in ‘t Veld

Marlène Huis in ‘t Veld grew up in the east of Holland (Achterhoek, area with a high density of farmers) and has family in the agricultural business. During her study Work & Organizational Psychology at the University of Amsterdam she did internships at TNO and Heineken where she developed her interest in improving organizations by empowering employees.

After obtaining her master’s degree and a trip abroad she started her career as a recruiter at an IT contractor and became the manager of the recruitment department. This company grew fast and Marlène went from operations to strategy in order to transfer the organization to its new size. In addition, she studied for Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt). After becoming manager HR & quality she expanded her experience within another company where the management was in transition from the previous to the new generation of the family.

Marlène joined Agriterra in 2019 as HR Advisor.
