Mebrahtom Gebreselassie

Mebrahtom Gebreselassie joined the BRIDGE+ project based in Mekelle city as a junior cooperative advisor. 
He is highly motivated, creative and has strong professional skills with more than fifteen years of working experience in the areas of agriculture and cooperative marketing development sector. He has served as a professional senior technical expert, coordinator and chief officer of agriculture and rural development as well as cooperative marketing development at regional and district levels.
In addition, he has good interpersonal interaction with strong team spirit and good people management as well as he has proven strong skills in qualitative and survey data collection, coding, entry, analysis, interpretation and compiling research outputs.

Academic background:
Mebrahtom Gebreselassie got a Master’s Degree in Rural Development from Mekelle University of Ethiopia in June, 2016 and a Bachelor's Degree in Agri-Business Management from Haramaya University of Ethiopia in July, 2006. Furthermore, he has basic computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and SPSS software manipulation.

He is more ethical and trustworthy person with none of any addiction. his career aspiration goes to leave his mark on strengthening dairy cooperatives through mobilizing farmers in the form of enterprise and getting sustainable benefits to their members. Moreover, he wants to upgrade himself to a high level  in skill and knowledge in the area of agribusiness, value chain and marketing and he strongly believes he is always a learner. Finally, he spends most of his time at office work but when he has free time he tries to entertain himself by watching football mainly England Premier League.
