Noah Ngetich

Noah Ngetich joined Agriterra, as a Cooperative advisor Lobby and Advocacy, covering Kenya and Tanzania.

Before this position, Noah served as Director of the resource mobilisation, cooperatives & strategic partnerships at the office of the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya. Similarly, Noah held other capacities including Head of Mama Fresh, Enterprise Development Advisor at Mennonite Economic Development Associates (MEDA) funded project.

Noah came to Agriterra after several years leading multiple partner objectives, specifically, drafting & implementation of gender and environmentally-sensitive lobby and advocacy plans to meet the presidency targets in inclusive economic transformation, financial inclusion, market system development and mercy works.

Noah’s DAAD /AERC Graduate staff and research experience with The University of Nairobi and international agencies including GIZ to conduct rural labour and agriculture assessments respectively will be extremely helpful for farmer-focused Transformation (FFT), CRAFT, ACTNOW, GCF, SDGP & ACORN Projects in handling tailored pieces of training, case to case assessments and peer reviews.

Earlier on, Ngetich started his career as a Technical Assistant with Twiga Chemicals where he supported smallholder farmers and cooperatives to instil business-oriented farming. That’s where Noah, grew his intuition for farmer's organisations. During the same time, Noah pursued his varsity placements with IFAD and FAO program management units (PMUs).
The UN frameworks supporting value chain integration and influential policies ignited Noah’s desire to shape and influence agriculture policy and food systems globally.

Noah now looks forward to mutual synergy, continuous learning and long career growth at Agriterra.
