10 guests from the Philippines visited The Netherlands for a ‘Philippine-Dutch Agricultural Cooperative Learning Exchange’. They are representatives from 4 cooperative organisations we support in the Philippines: 2 in cassava, 1 in organic fertilizer and 1 in pineapple (juice and fiber).
We prepared an interesting and customized programme that fits the needs of all four clients as good as possible. Even their special request to stay one night at a Dutch farm has been granted, thanks to 3 committed farmers!
The official kick-off was organised on the farm of Dirk Bruins, dairy farmer, Agripool expert and chairman of farmers organisation LTO Noord. Other highlights in a nutshell: Avebe Innovation Center, University Groningen, SVZ Rijkevorsel Belgium (part of the Cosun group), Rabobank, flower auction FloraHolland, Biota Nutri, The Greenery, Cosun Innovation Center, Van den Borne Potatoes, the Agriterra office, and to conclude a visit to the Open Air Museum and Amsterdam!
