Jean Patrick Memel

Jean Patrick Memel obtained a Masters 2 in Economic Science and Development from the Alassane Ouattara University of Cote d'Ivoire in 2005. He has worked as Assistant Treasurer and Internal Auditor in an Agro-industry processing cocoa beans into cocoa mass from 2008 to 2010. 

Jean Patrick was chief accountant in a training, study and consultancy firm. He joined the NGO sector in 2013 as a business advisor with ease in financial matters and the search for a sustainable and reliable competitive economic model. To this end, Jean Patrick has implemented professionalisation projects for farmers' organisations through building the capacities of the leaders of these organisations. He is convinced that the development of cooperatives is found in strong and ambitious entrepreneurial models.

For this, Jean Patrick joined the Agriterra team as a business advisor for Ivory Coast. In this position, he plays an active role in sourcing these customers and is responsible for the development and implementation of tailor-made programs so that these cooperatives achieve their objectives. In addition, Jean Patrick actively supports farmers' organisations in Ivory Coast in several sectors of activity notably, cashew, rubber, oil palm, food, fruit and others.
