Patrick Kagathi is a business advisor based in Nairobi, Kenya. He joined Agriterra in July 2014 as an intern, with the first assignment being mapping all the dairy cooperatives, dairy cooling tanks and their capacities all over the country to give a better overview of the status of the dairy sector in Kenya. After a two months internship with Agriterra, he went back to complete his undergraduate. He holds a degree in Agribusiness Management and is also a Certified Public Accountant. In mid-April 2015, Patrick joined Agriterra as an Assistant Business Advisor and since then has been supporting all the SACCO clients in Kenya in implementing the action plans.
Patrick is a young and highly motivated professional, with a great passion in Agribusiness and working with farmers to enable them view farming as a profession hence taking the agribusiness approach. He has an ambition to advance in Marketing in the coming periods to be able provide value in the whole value chain from production to marketing. His ambition is to see farmers having sustainable businesses run professionally by making cooperatives bankable.
