Esmee van Schuppen

In February 2023, Esmee van Schuppen joined Agriterra as Programme Officer. In this position, she supports with the roll out of the Farmer-Focused Transformation and Acting Now Programmes. She holds a master’s degree in International Development Studies at Wageningen University and Research, specialising in rural development. During this MSc, she received the opportunity to do an internship at Agriterra, where she assessed the impact of the Female Leadership Training. Moreover, while writing her thesis, she gained experience working with farmers in Ghana. 

In her free time, Esmee loves to travel, and to play korfball, ice skate, and read.
