Ysakor Haileselassie Hailu

Ysakor H. Hailu was born in Ethiopia, he is an MBA graduate from De Montfort University, UK. He joined Agriterra as business advisor since 2013 to unleash his potential in advisory role to assist Ethiopian cooperative unions in achieving their business ambitions. After Receiving his MBA, Ysakor has pursued a career in export business working for a cooperative federation in oilseed marketing. this opened a new insight in his career life to perceive what farmers can achieve if they are organized in cooperatives at different levels.  

He strongly believes that cooperatives are central for the country’s development and play a pivotal role in steering the country’s economy and promote strong social values. He is highly qualified in advising cooperatives on equity financing and has shown remarkable result in doing so. He believes that Agriterra has opened a wide door for more opportunities to growth in his profession and wishes to widen his advisory scope to international level.
