Claudia Kamazima

Claudia Kamazima is a business advisor in Tanzania who joined Agriterra in January 2020. She holds a bachelor of science in Actuarial Science from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa.

Prior to  joining Agriterra, she worked as an investment associate for a private equity investment firm called Vurani Capital focused on developing various sectors within the Tanzanian economy including agriculture. Through this role she was able to lead and engage in numerous projects that enabled her to gain experience in the operations and dynamics of the activities involved in the agricultural value chain. She equally has a background in the financial services industry as well, notably in the insurance arena where she worked for Resolution Insurance as an actuarial assistant. In this position she closely worked with corporate clients in the creation and development of insurance products and quotations.
