Edna Mekonnen

Edna Mekonnen was born in Ethiopia. She is a BA graduate in Accounting and Finance from Addis Ababa University and currently working on her thesis for her MBA from Jimma University. She is a certified Business Edge trainer from International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank. She Joined Agriterra as business advisor since July 1, 2017. She worked at Targt Business Consultants in the capacity of Senior Accountant and Trainer and also at Lafto Mall as an accountant.

Edna has vast experience in financial management (training and implementation), budget preparation and financial reporting. She used to work with different projects in the form of international NGOs and business organizations. Her diverse exposure helps her build different skills such as interpersonal skills, self-starter, creativity, team leading as well as time management. She is a self-motivated person with a great drive for success, a fast learner capable of adapting to her environment at fast pace and always looking for new means in improving and solving problems in her day to day activities both at personal and professional levels. She likes playing table tennis, listening to music and a great admirer of nature.
