Nicole Sloot (1990) was born and raised on an arable farm in Germany, close to the Dutch border. She obtained a master’s degree in Management Studies at Wageningen University and Research.Her master thesis on member commitment in cooperatives has reshaped the way NCR (the Dutch Cooperative Council) measures member commitment among its member cooperatives.
After the completion of her thesis, Nicole started as a graduate intern at Agriterra, where she investigated opportunities to improve inclusiveness in agricultural cooperatives, focusing on youth participation.
Nicole joined Agriterra in 2017 as a business advisor and Youth Programme Coordinator. Since November 2018, she joined Team Uganda. Next to that, she is a trainer for the Agriterra Marketing Basics Training and facilitator of the Kick-Off Workshop Youth Participation.
