'Small farmers, big deal' campaign launched

On 16 December, Kees Blokland, director of Agriterra presented the campaign manifest 'Small farmers, big deal' to Mrs Aaltje de Roos of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The campaign will run until 2017. There were more than 200 attendees at De Reehorst in Ede. Albert Jan Maat (LTO Nederland), Jan van Hoogen (Agrico), Madelon Pfeiffer (Rabobank) and Ben Knapen (Senator) gave their views on the opportunities for the Netherlands and small organised farmers in developing countries.
