Youth Leadership Academy 2018

 

The Youth Leadership Academy is an intensive, interactive one-day training, developed for an international and diverse group of young (to be) leaders within the agrifood system. It’s a day for young talent from the Netherlands and abroad organised by Agriterra, Nederlands Agrarisch Jongeren Kontakt (NAJK) and the Nationale Coöperatieve Raad (NCR).

Goal of the Academy is to strengthen and develop your personal leadership. Central theme this year is succession of family farms, with emphasis on the social and emotional aspects that you encounter as a young professional.

What skills do you need to be successful in communication and negotiations? What is your role and what know-how do you personally need to develop take a strong stand in these types of transitions? What can you learn from other (international) experiences? You will get answers during the day, hear inspiring practical cases and you will be trained in leadership and communication skills that come in handy during a succession process within families, but also in your daily life. You’ll get inspiration from speakers, experts and young entrepreneurial leaders from the field. With participants from all over the sector and world you can exchange and network about the most important challenges in your daily practice.
